High Tech Central specializes in career training designated to take you from your career choice to the workplace as quickly as possible.  Classes are designed so that students progress at an individual pace.  Competency-based courses allow students to quickly practice and master program skills.

Upon completion, students earn certificates and are eligible to receive credit from area colleges. 

Educational Programs Offered
The school offers occupational training programs in the following areas: Business Technology Education, Health Science Education, Construction and Construction-Related Trades, Specialized Mechanics, Service Occupations, Technical Programs, Law Enforcement and Public Service Programs.  In addition, the school offers services such as: Accelerated Credit Education (ACE), Vocational Preparatory Instruction (VPI), FCAT Math remediation, Exceptional Student Education (ESE), and Intensive Reading to address the “No Child Left Behind” federal & state requirements.  The Trade Extension Department offers a variety of part-time evening programs for individuals seeking job preparatory skills or remedial basic skills in reading, math, and language
